Secondly I applied the main image of my model for this process, this is an image of Jessica Benn sticking up her two middle fingers, making it suitable for the target audience because after analysing Kerrang's! front cover the star vehicle Hayleigh Williams was being explicit too, this will fall under the Gaunlet theory because its re-arranging of the old and re-making of the new.
The masthead (magazine name) is then added, this must be added in terms of common conventions for a magazine front cover. This will attract the target audience because in terms of the design of the masthead, it contains cracks like glass and this could connote emotions and violence, this will agree with the Stanley Hall youth theorist as he also states "teenagers aged between 14-25 are involved with crime, sex and are moody."
Whilst the transparent black box at the bottom of the screen will also contain star vehicles of famous celebrities within the rock genre, attracting the target audience who fall under the Blumer and Katz theory. This idea was also inspired by Kerrang! rock magazine.
The choice of colours of these boxes were quite important because not only will the theme be continued within the contents page to make it also suitable in terms of the common conventions for my Loud Rock Magazine, but these could connote mood such as depression and etc once again falling under the Stanley Hall theory.
This is the product when the text containing the star vehicles are added, this is important to add because it will encourage people who fall under the Blumer and Katz theory to read this magazine as it may contain a star vehicle that contains plenty of fans, encouraging them to purchase and read this magazine for their own personal purposes.
But within the rebellious yellow box containing more names of star vehicles at the top of the magazine, I also added cracked stars in the feature because this will make it look more effective in terms of mise-en-sense,
The main feature of the storyline was applied "Jessica Benn Exclusive Interview" this is important for the magazine as it will then be following the common conventions for the magazines that are sold upon shop shelves. This will help attract many of the target audience's attention as the main teaser stands out in terms of colours and boldness, encouraging them to glance at the magazine and judge wither they wish to read/purchase this magazine or not.
I then made the "exclusive interview" text stand out even more by placing a yellow opaque box behind it, this will be a useful technique in terms of mise-en-sense because it will help encourage the target audience to view this magazine and decide if they are interested in purchasing this magazine or not, following the Blumer and Katz theory.
Also to make my magazine look even more realistic, I added another common convention such as the barcode, editing the numbers and etc to make it look more original, obviously this would have to be added to make it suitable to be even sold within a shop like other magazines that are on display to attract their target audience.
In terms of adding more text/teasers/story headlines of star vehicles in the rock genre, the theme of the font still continues in terms of the colours, yellow and white, this is important because it makes the magazine look more natural in terms of its appearance to attract the target audience.
Here is the magazine when images are added upon the front cover, these are important in terms of common conventions because it will once again attract the target audience's attention who are fans of these star vehicles, especially when their is a frame around each of the image to make them stand out even more to encourage the target audience to pick up and view the magazine for their interests.
But in terms of mise-en-sense, I deliberately had chosen the image with my model about to trash a guitar because this will connote that this magazine is under the rock genre with its rebellious act, meaning it will be suitable for the target audience who are falling under the Stanley Hall theory.
This is then the finishing product, of adding a graffiti styled arrow with the text stating "Free poster!" This was important to add within the image because not only will it represent youth in terms of being rebellious, but the free poster was also applied upon my Kerrang! analysis on their front cover. So to make my magazine more suitable for the target audience who are passionate about their rock genre music, this will encourage them to purchase this magazine for the free goodies.
